Tour Operator : Equity, Hotel : Cant Remember

This resort is a little known or explored part of the milky way ... and it should be left that way. The resort itself is not that big but that is not what put us off. The food at the apartments/come hotel was poor to say the least. The rooms were of the prison variety. There were three of us in a room for four but that was too many. Bunks beds were the order of the day and organisation was required to move within the room.

The runs near the top

We complained to Equity but this fell on deaf ears. We have decided not to use Equity again.

TimGetting onto the slopes was an exercise in physical fitness itself. When you eventually get to the bottom of the snow there is an uphill walk of a few hundred yards to the tows/lift. The last part, just when you are running out of energy being the steepest. There are two tows and one chair. Unless you are a beginner skip the tows and head up.

From the top there are a few runs down or some more tows to go up. If these tows are open then do go up. The best runs are from the very top. As I have said this resort is linked to the much larger Milky Way but you have to go down a black in order to get there. If you do then there is an abundance of fresh runs to try. The way back is a tow up the black. Tricky and painful !

Summary

I wouldnt go back here until they improve the lift systems. Especially linking up the rest of the area.

Uppers - Good for beginners to get a taste. Virtually empty except the weekends.

Downers - Trip to slopes was real bad. Accomodation and food were dire.
